The homeowners of this charming 1920s residence located in the heart of Tangletown were eager to enhance the flow and functionality of their primary living space, the kitchen, all while preserving the architectural integrity of the home. To achieve this, Quartersawn removed a large utility closet to create a more spacious kitchen, complete with a generous antique-styled island. This reconfiguration facilitated the expansion of the doorway between the kitchen and dining room, enhancing the overall fluidity between these two key areas.
