That’s why we’re honored to sponsor Como Zoo & Conservatory’s Sunset Affair for the second year in a row.
Our connection to Como Zoo began through several of our homeowners who serve on the zoo’s board. Their passion for conservation, education, and community engagement inspired us to become involved, and over the past year, that connection has only grown stronger.
For generations, Como Zoo has been a cherished gathering place for Twin Cities families. With free admission every day of the year, it offers opportunities to learn, explore, and connect with the natural world, making it one of our community’s most accessible and beloved institutions.
As part of our continued support, Quartersawn is once again donating a “Honey Do List” package to the Sunset Affair auction. The winning bidder will receive time with our skilled carpenters to finally tackle those lingering household projects, bringing quality craftsmanship to the little things that make a house feel complete.
And here’s a fun full-circle moment: when we donated the package last year, the winning bidder turned out to be one of our past homeowners. Seeing a member of the Quartersawn family benefit from the experience made the evening even more meaningful and reinforced the lasting relationships that often continue long after a project is complete.
Supporting organizations like Como Zoo reflects what matters most to us: strengthening communities, creating meaningful experiences, and investing in places that bring people together. We’re grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Sunset Affair again this year and look forward to continuing our partnership with an organization that enriches the Twin Cities in so many ways.
This year’s event brought together another wonderful group of Quartersawn homeowners for an evening of community, connection, and support. Despite the summer heat and less-than-ideal air quality, the atmosphere was full of energy, generosity, and shared purpose.
