At Quartersawn Design Build, relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Whether we’re reimagining a home or giving back to the community we love, our work is grounded in connection, care, and craft. This year, we’re proud to sponsor Como Zoo and Conservatory—a beloved Twin Cities institution that embodies so many of the values we hold dear.
Our sponsorship was inspired by a special connection: several of our homeowners serve on the zoo’s board. Their dedication to conservation, education, and community engagement reminded us just how powerful local institutions can be.
For over a century, Como Zoo has offered a place for families to learn, explore, and experience the natural world—always with free admission, 365 days a year. It’s a place where curiosity is encouraged, where generations connect, and where the wonder of nature is always within reach.
As part of our support, we also donated a “Honey Do List” to the Sunset Affair auction. The winning bidder receives a few hours of help from our talented carpenters—just the boost they need to tackle those lingering home projects with confidence.
It’s an honor to contribute to a cause that brings joy, education, and a deeper appreciation for the world around us. We’re grateful to be part of the Como Zoo community and to continue building connections—both inside the home and far beyond it.
