This home had a spacious lot with a pool, but the views and circulation were lacking. Our homeowners were eager to have a welcoming space to entertain their family and friends. We built an addition that extends to the back and side of the home creating space for a large kitchen, cozy dinette, and an inviting family room. The homeowners wanted to make the most of their backyard, so we built wall-to-wall windows letting in plenty of natural light and stunning views. We transformed the old, dimly lit kitchen into a versatile space, now serving as a convenient powder room, a handy pantry, and a practical mudroom entry. This project won a national Chrysalis home addition award in 2023 and a 2023 Remodeler of Merit Award for a home addition.
